About the Founder

Stephen Steddy, Co-Founder, Sage8.AI

Stephen's path to building Verdict∞ came the long way round — through diesel engines, remote mining operations, and a deep curiosity about how things work. That instinct now drives his work as Co-Founder of Sage8.AI, building the AI-powered audit engine behind Verdict∞: a tool designed to give businesses an honest, no-flattery picture of where they actually stand online.

He built Verdict∞'s entire audit pipeline himself — the AI agent that reads and scores live websites, the reporting and payments infrastructure behind it, and the live AI-engine checks that test real visibility in tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Outside of work, he raises puppies for Blind Low Vision New Zealand, helping future guide dogs take their first steps toward changing someone's life.
